Elderberry Wine was definitely a good one. Sartorial Eloquence was okay. High Flying Bird was absolutely wonderful, but I just don't hear it enough.

Tommy is up there among the top 3 musicals, i.e.
Jesus Christ Superstar, Tommy, West Side Story. There are many amazing scenes, eg acid queen with tina turner, http://youtube.com/watch?v=VmlNIZ6D-bc

Yes. I think Goodbye Yellow Brick Road was one of the greatest albums ever. I'll get some flack for that statement but I stand by it.

Not at all. It was truly a great album. I loved the uniqueness of Bennie and the Jets, and the upbeatness of Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting, as well as Candle in the Wind. Indeed, it was a legendary album.

Madman Across the Water. That song and period he truly excelled. He had a Texas twang for some reason.

    Tiny Dancer and Levon. 😏

Really Inspirational songs. Indian Sunset was good, too.

My favorite was Honky Château. It had Rocket Man (favorite song), Honky Cat, and Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters.

I agree with your selection. I still have it on vinyl.

I got the Madman album for my 15th birthday -- loved it! Then bought it on cassette. I'm not sure if I have the CD or not!

Early in his career he bought a home in Georgia (the US state) and became enthralled with southern culture.
