    Is your national anthem religious, militaristic, something else, or music only?

    I had thought they all pretty much had some reference to war or soldiers (US and Eire), but apparently England's is religious. Yours?

    It's a tribute to the "Founding Father", William of Orange. He was assassinated in 1584.

    I think its just nationalistic, as one would expect anyway.

    Its basically about how wonderful the country is, its lyrically very idealistic and romantic, if its has a certain militaristic feel to it (in certain parts) its very mild.
