Just saw this on the Pratchett tributes:

"Give a man a fire and he's warm for a day, but set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life.”

    From the novel Jingo.

Made me laugh out loud. As he has done for years. I try and model my management style on the Patrician.

Lovely way to go out on Twitter as well, meeting his most famous character.

    RIP

I appreciated his humour even though his books weren't really to my taste. That is a very good quote. He fought his illness very courageously and I am sad for his family, friends, and many fans.
