Toast: a query about a song

I saw a song on Top of the Pops 2 quite a while ago which a son from the 70s, and was meant to be an early form of rap - I was essentially a guy talking into a microphone about toast.

Does anyone know anything about this song? Everytime I hear someone mention toast a bit of it pops into my head, and the fact I don't know anything about it is getting a bit annoying...
