When Chief Justice William Rinquist died why wasn't one of the other senior judges assigned to be the Chief Justice ? Why was a newcomer (John Roberts) to the Supreme Court assigned as Chief Justice ?

I thought they would promote one judge and fill his or her space with a new appointee.

I got my answer. Chief Justice is a presidential appointee in my country. Interesting that they were discussing this on CNN this morning. Nobody was accused of being lost.

Are you lost in your own inflated egotism because someone asked a question on the Forum ?

It's obvious that a question about the Supreme Court does not belong in the 'Culture' forum. Even a moron like yourself should have been able to figure that one out.

You should see ringwett "lost" over on the Spirituality Forum trying to make Jesus of Nazareth sing the grand architect of Marxism.

As Jesus predated Marx by nearly 2,000 years, I don't think it was possible for him to be a Marxist. I have said that Jesus was a proto-socialist, as have many people throughout history, many of whom were devout Christians. But if you want to start a thread about it in the proper forum then be my guest.
