The rappers seem to rule the roost when it comes to popularity, but I don't get it. Rap has ruined black music.
Main stream country artist have to be pretty boys. and pretty girls singing bland light rock.
Artist like Britney Spears, and her like get my vote for nothing to offer but mindless entertainment for young teen aged kids.
That's my rant on the bad stuff.

Because he doesn't like it. It doesn't matter that Rap and R&B are the result of a different cultural outlook, in his world it's 'bad'.

Remember back in the Motown day's when all the greatest music in the world was being created by blacks ? My favorite music people of all time have been black. Ray Charles was a religious experience for me. This rap thing seems to be constant repitition with a bass line that's overpowering. The lyrics are to often about bragging about yourself or something sexual in a crude manner. It stinks. Bring back the soul and get rid of the hype.

I bet some of your best friends are black too. Broad sweeping generalizations of music is just as bad as people. Try some Digable Planets, Wu Tang, Tribe Called Quest, Gang Star .or some Blackalcious.
