    Article was stand alone, enlightening and goes to the meat of the matter as to why live opera is so much better other than the Zefirelli versions of some major works. I disagree only because there are so many operas so seldom staged locally that I certainly enjoy watching them in DVD form or in the theater when available. Give this one Zefirelli version of Tosca a try. It is set in the three places the libretto calls for: Sant'Andrea de LaValle, Palazzo Farnese and Castel Sant'Angelo.
