Does this mean I'm turning into an old fart?
I can't think of a single album that came out in 2009. I've probably listened to a few, but I can't associate this year with anything. It's true! Utter vacancy behind the eyes over here.
Edit: and I give less of a toss about new music with every day that passes. I am an old fart.

I don't see how my decrepitude makes uzless right.
Originally posted by darvlay Of course you don't. But he will.
He always does. Such consistency is reassuring in a young man.
One possible reason for the blankness of my mind is that the Internet may have erased my sense of time. This year, last year, ten years ago ... It's always already at hand. I'm almost sick of the exponentially burgeoning available choice, but I can't stop myself from grabbing more of it.
Whoa. Something just surface. Wonky. 2009 was the year of wonky.

He'll come here anyway. Facts or logic have little bearing on his self-congratulating exercises.
There is something to admire in a person that takes matters into his own hands. If nobody is willing to pat uzless in the back, uzless will do it himself.
EDIT - Even if it's only one album, let's hear it.
Not sure about entire albums...most days I only like a few songs of an album. But,
The Great Lakes Swimmers
Moby's new one
Alice N Chains (only the slower stuff) "your decision" is my fav.
Trouble Andrew "Chase Money" and "UH oh" http://www.myspace.com/troubleandrew

In the fullness of time, uzless is proven correct more times than not. uzless does not look for adoration, uzless looks for the truth, justice and if he can be annoying along the way, then so much the better.

I've just checked "To Leave it Behind" but the acoustic guitar is not really my thing. Is that representative of them? I much prefer Buck 65's approach to folk than that.
