My list would be horizontal, I wouldn't try to say one was 'better' than another, how would you compare Mrs Doubtfire to Light the red lantern for instance, both on my list.
So in no particular order, Zardoz, 2001 space odyssey, Silent Running, Fargo, Contact, Silence of the Lambs, Birds, Citizen Kane, Mutiny on the Bounty (Marlin Brando version), Patriot Games, Hunt for Red October, Broken Trail, The man from Snowy river, The gods must be crazy, part one and part two, Mad Max, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Mrs. Doubtfire, Beautiful Mind, Light the red Lantern, 1900, Amadeus, Million Dollar Baby, Space Cowboys, Men in Black, Independence day (will Smith), Unforgiven, The Hunted (Tommy Lee Jones), Maltese Falcon, Jurassic Park, Blade Runner, Godfather, Part 1 and part 2, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Eraserhead, Blood Diamond, Whale Rider, Good Will Hunting, Awakenings, Dead Poets Society, Good Morning Vietnam, Forest Gump, Philadephia, Sleepless in Seattle, Pale Rider, Shawshank Redemption: Some of the films I loved, and have seen twice, if anyone thinks there is one stinker in there, tell me!

Whats with the webistes? Are you selling them. Showing off because you like some foreign films? Elitist, perhaps? I don't know, your list annoys me.

Additional information is given about films which maybe not so well-known. I can`t help you if you`re so touchy.

No, but it is on my "to see" list. In same vein, have you seen "The Orphanage?" ( El Orfanato ) Guillermo del Toro produced it. Almost made my top 20.

The Devil's Backbone is an amazing movie. It has a slightly different feel to it; darker and more gothic. It's also told through a boy's eyes instead of a girl's (like in Pan's Labyrinth), so that has some effect as well.

I have not seen the Orphanage. I'll keep it in mind. I do most of my movie-watching during the summer.

Cheers. I'm going to pop into the video store tomorrow. If you enjoy Gothic horror told though the eyes of a young boy, and you haven't seen it yet, check out "Let the Right One In" (Låt den Rätte Komma in) My favourite movie of 2008.

Is it not in Spanish? I prefer Spanish, Arabic, Hebrew, or French movies. Or, of course, English.

My #16 is actually "Battle of Algiers" and everything else is moved down one. I forgot about that. Great film.
