If you want to pretend your position is unassailable that's fine, but not everyone can be fooled into thinking it's okay for protesters to 'inadvertently' provide cover for destructive riots. Peaceful protesters are bemoaning the fact that rioters have highjacked their protest, as though one has nothing to do with the other..
Rioters always show up whenever there's a 'peaceful' protest. But I'm supposed to believe what... there is no correlation between protests and destructive rioting? If you are black and own property in downtown Portland, does your life and livelihood matter? Apparently not... the mob are equal opportunity destructors of lives and livelihoods.

More specifically when did I claim that someone’s life didn’t matter. Again you can pretend not to realise that ‘black lives matter’ was coined in the atmosphere of of unarmed black men being disproportionately unlawfully killed by police officers who were getting to carry on as if nothing happened and you can also pretend that you don’t get that it’s meant to be read as ‘black lives matter‘ (too)but most reasonable non black people got that without having it explained to them again and again and again.
