Gingrich as President. That's really scary!

Not that Gingrich doesn't have his own problems.

But what I want to know is whether he still supports Paul Ryan's "right wing social engineering?" Or has he flip-flopped?

An honest researcher would have to conclude that Newt Gingrich is more of a flip-flopper than Romney and less intelligent. But an honest researcher would never consider voting for either one.

Romney smarter? I don't know about that. I would never consider voting for either, but I think Gingrich is pretty smart. He says dumb things, but the difference is that Romney is a little more slick.

    Now Huntsman is flip-flopping.

I'm voting on the basis of stupidity. Perry all the way! We need a President to match our Congress. Right now Gingrich is doing all he can to discredit himself to get out of race but short of another affair with a cheap wicked woman I don't know how he'll wiggle out of the nomination. Maybe Rush can provide some little blue pills for him and some big white ones for his victim.

Rove isn't happy about the Gingrich surge.

That makes me want to vote for Newt. He must be hiding something worse than taking advantage of licentious gold-digging secretaries. If he is you can be assured that Rove knows and is right now plotting to engineer a release of that information (as soon as he can find a Democrat to blame it on.) The unbounded hatred that right-wingers heap on the left is nothing compared to what they are prepared to do to each other in the struggle for power. Hide your dogs!

No, I think Rove just think that Newt's chances of winning are too low to risk allowing the nomination.

Here you go Kunsoo. This ought to make you shudder. Newt wants Bolton as Secretary of State. Heh. That's very red meat for the base ( and unlikely to happen IMO). Newt may pull this off yet.

I certainly hope he didn't offer Bolton the position for Bolton's support. That would be a criminal violation.

But Bolton is a bit of a nut anyway. Obviously Newt has to pander to the base, but I doubt he would make good on the promise.

As anyone could have predicted, Romney went there.
