A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of a 9 year old girl to fire an automatic machine gun, shall not be infringed.

    Good grief

What moronic mindless parent puts a machine gun into a child's hands?
What will it take to teach Americans that guns are not toys?
How many deaths does it take to stop this alpha male strutting horror?
    Grow up, America.

There are some dummies with weapons out there, but also many others who actually know how to properly use them.
They're usually not the newsworthy ones, but the dummies will all have their 15 minutes of fame in the media.

Maybe it's all part of Darwin's natural selection process.

Guns don't kill people. Nine year-old girls do.

I think you have misunderstood me. I am not against guns, I just don't think 9 year old girls should be drafted into a militia.

Why not, she has demonstrated the ability to kill?

Quite so and now may we assume she is old enough to stand trial and take responsibility for her actions? I think an example is required so that other nine-year-olds are more careful with their automatic weapons.

I certainly have no problem with a trial.

Technically speaking, the Israeli Uzi is a submachine gun, not a machine gun.
It makes no sense to me why any beginner should be learning how to shoot
with a gun capable of automatic fire, particularly if it had a full clip of rounds.

By the way, I have read there are people who may be described as 'gun tourists'.
They like to travel to places where they can legally fire more destructive weapons.
If I recall correctly, China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) has (or had) a
range available for tourists where (after paying for the privilege) they were
allowed to fire heavy machine guns or RPGs at various targets. Perhaps
they might also be allowed to take (obsolete) armoured vehicles out for a
'joy ride'. The PLA also offers 'realistic' martial arts instruction for tourists,
meaning that a tourist could pay for the privilege of probably getting beat
up (if he enjoys it) by a PLA instructor in close combat techniques.

Technically speaking, the Israeli Uzi is fed by a magazine, not a clip.

If Quackquack believes that a nine year old girl is mature enough to take
criminal responsibility (like an adult?) for her deadly actions, does he also
believe that she should be legally permitted to consent to sexual intercourse?
Or to choose to have an abortion? Or to sign legally binding contracts?

Hah. These same right wingers (well, I don't know about QQ specifically) love to call Muhammed a paedophile because some people think his wife was nine years old.

I referred to the Uzi in one sentence. In the next sentence, I made a more
general comment about *any* 'gun capable of automatic fire', not only
about the Uzi, and I lacked the time and inclination to describe the various
feeding mechanisms available to 'guns capable of automatic fire'.

In this case, I don't know how many rounds the girl's Uzi had before she fired it.
