An Australia school has decided that Muslim boys don't need to shake hands with women.

Can Australia change its liberal and ever changing norms and customs to conform to the rigid doctrines of the quran?

Also, does this demean women in any way?

We all know what teenage boys do with their hands.

This should be seen as a public service.

I'm sure the Duchess feels the same.

Women are not our equals. I guess this proves it.

I'm for making a gentle nod the standard greeting so that people will start respecting my personal space for once. Or we could bring back top hats.

I'm guessing we have someone who really likes to shake hands. Maybe Trump is reading these forums.

Bah, shaking hands is an asinine custom. When a student enters my office and extends a hand, well, I shake it of course, but thereafter I have to bear in mind that I may have my next bout with a head cold or the flu on the tip of a finger.

I suspect that many people would prefer to avoid shaking hands with Donald Trump.

I wouldn't touch those Tang-tainted sausage fingers if they were waving a C-note with my name on it.
