@Arkturos saidTypical Trump histrionics, none of which is true or has any basis in legal precedent.
All of Trump's executive orders are null and void because he used a marker instead of a pen.
Too bad his stubby little fingers and his mind-hand coordination are insufficient to handle a pen, as every other modern adult POTUS has been able to do.
quote:
Trump said Biden’s pardons of lawmakers on the committee that investigated the Jan. 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol attack “are hereby declared VOID, VACANT, AND OF NO FURTHER FORCE OR EFFECT,” because “they were done by Autopen.”
It’s unclear whether Biden signed the pardons with an autopen. But even if he did, a half dozen legal experts said the Constitution doesn’t require that pardons be signed by hand by the president.
Memos by the Office of the Solicitor General in 1929 and the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel in 2005 both say a president’s hand signature is not needed, and presidents, including Lincoln, routinely had subordinates sign pardons on their behalf.
There is no constitutional mechanism for overturning pardons, and an 1869 judicial ruling found that once delivered, a pardon is final. There is no legal precedent saying pardons are void if they are signed by a machine instead of the president.
The burden of proof is on the speaker, and Trump provided no evidence of a legal path to declaring Biden’s pardons void.

@Arkturos saidSo you do not care that Biden did not sign his own orders and bills into law?

Who did the auto signing? You might want to be interested in who was running the country. It wasn't Biden.
Biden might have thought he signed them. He would not remember anyway.
I'll bet Reagan was the same way. Maybe he wasn't running the country either.
@Cliff-Mashburn saidBut if he was agreeing to it he would have signed himself, right?
Biden was non compos mentis anyway so nothing he did the last couple of years he was in office should hold up, he was just agreeing to whatever his aides shoved in front of him..

No, an auto pen signature is an indication he knew nothing about it. In his mental state a person could probably just say "you did, don't you remember?" and he would probably reply "oh yeah. Sure" to avoid embarrassment.
Reagan did not remember much either. Maybe is signatures should be examined.
