So was he a hypocrite and a liar or is this just extreme left wing media bias?

None of the above, he had a problem with women.

No, he had extremely bad behavior towards women.

Given his stance on tradional Christian values and his condemnation of the morals of the left is he a hypocrite and a liar or is this character assassination by the New York Times?

The news followed a report of a former Fox News employee coming forward with accusations of inappropriate behavior by O’Reilly, the reigning king of cable news.

Bill Orally and Roger Ailes' at Fox News loved to rub their Christian pure, goody two shoes conservative message in the face of the Liberals. These two now join a long list of conservatives who have been found guilty of marital infidelity, sexual harassment, or predatory sex crimes. I have no doubt more dirty little secrets will be released from their very big closet in the future.

    Fox is establishment.

Establishment loves to try to put one over on Christians. Even Christian radio stations are run by establishment types.

I love listening to the "we need to stand up against Target's bathroom policy" but then in the next sentence claim that Gorsuch is such a great Supreme Court Justice pick.

I don't consider anyone at Fox a devout Christian.

Or is it only when advertisers finally pulled their support from his program that Fox developed an ethical backbone?

    Yes, this.

It wasn't the multi-millions they shelled out as a result of settling lawsuits against O'Reilly, it was the billions they were set to lose as a result of advertisers bailing.

I guess old Bill will run crying into the wind with his 80 million to comfort him in his terrible time of need. Too bad they can't take that all away from him also. He is a cretin.

End of an era I suppose, what with what ails Fox finally gone.

There is regime change afoot at News Limited though, its not just the ad dollar. James and Lachlan are cut from a very different cloth to their father Rupert and the transformation of Fox News away from bully pulpit of king maker Rupert will continue. Rupert probably represents one of the very last of the old school media baron moguls who took immense pride in making everyone bend their way. When he finally walks off, what will happen at Fox is what happened in Vegas when the mob playground was taken over by the Corporation's.

Anyway good riddance to bad rubbish. Funny how it always seems to be the guys with the most moralising of tones that are the biggest meatheads in private.

Correction, now it will be Old bill crying into his beer with 100 million with the diamond parachute he is given.

The same wealth as Steve Wozniak but without the creativity or intelligence.
