I am giving a thousand dollars to "catholic relief funds" international with a request to give to africa.
I am giving a thousand dollars to my city's twin city/state in Africa. In Mali.
I am giving 990 dollars to the wounded warriors project. I bought ten back packs. My message to each was. 'God bless you. For paying the price. Freedom isn't free"
www.woundedwarriorproject.org
I am also giving a thousand dollars to a family here in utah who lost their "father" to the war. This year.
That is too personal to share.
I am giving a thousand dollars to general Vallely. For his son.
That is all the money I have. To give. It keeps me poor. The way I want to be when I die. Poor. But having given to those who did good.
My grandkids get a single toy each, ten hundred hours of teasing and being teased, twenty hours of getting them where they want and need to be and two hundred hours of my "general" time next year. That's the way it goes.

Should guarantee your passage to heaven.
Shame it does not exist!
But I still cry when I see "It's a Wonderful Life" and that miserable mr. Potter shot down in flames of righteous nobility of spirit.
Especially when I know that the director and producer of the film gained his wings in a trench at Midway... watching his compatriots killed. As he was injured himself. But never wavered from the spirit that is America.
My. How times have changed.

Only you would come up with a dumbass snide remark like that. The man is generously giving to some fine charities an you lambaste him.😠Can you compete with his giving?
One of the most oppressive and insidious religious regimes in the world (the Catholic Church) - how much of his 1,000 went on "admin" fees?
and $990 to poor wounded state sponsored terrorists?
I prefer to help out those I know and love, not give it to some faceless beaurocrats.
Oh and I don't do it out of duty to God, but rather because of my own personal sense of integrity and brotherhood of man.

Originally posted by howardgeeyou call them state sponsored terrorists. Your not completely wrong. But that doesn't make you right either. Do you honestly believe that the soldiers that go overseas to "defend freedom" (as they often believe) do it out of hate for the enemy or love of their country. I believe they do it for the latter. There's a fine line between one and the other. They are not terrorists. If anything, they are pawns, used in the front lines of battle, not much unlike in a chess game.

AMERICA IS ONE OF THE LEAST CHARITABLE NATIONS ON EARTH AND FOR EVERY $1 GIVEN IN AID $3 COMES BACK IN DEBT REPAYMENTS.
EACH DAY, 33000 CHILDREN DIE FROM POVERTY. MEANWHILE, AMERICA SPENDS BILLIONS ON ELECTION CAMPAIGNS, INVASIONS, ETC
YOU MIGHT BE BOASTING ABOUT THE MONEY YOU SPARE BUT CAN YOU BOAST ABOUT THE EFFORT YOU MAKE TO BRING ABOUT REAL CHANGE ?

Well intentioned sacraficial lambs so that others more evil may profit from their killing (Bush, Rumsfeld, Haliburton, etc).
Let's face it soldiers aren't the sharpest tools in the box. I mean look at SlimJim's forum posts!

How's the gang?
You failed to point out that your figures about the US donations comes from the United Nations figures. Which part about our not supporting that corrupt organization is so difficult to understand?
Their figures (the Unneeded Nations) ONLY count money given to registered and recognized UN organizations. Because? Duh! They graft half the money that idiots give to them.
Guess where the US would be if you use the US census figures for gifting and giving? Not even close.
Anyway... keep up the mindless blather. Enjoy your rants. Makes me realize that there really is a valid argument for abortion.
