I suppose this is how things will be from now on. Anytime a minority party does not occupy the White House they will simply shut down the government.

Unless your Republicans, who shut down the government with control of both houses. Then called it a "liberal" shutdown, due to being dishonest windbags.

Well the GOP threatened to shut down government because some wanted to not raise the debt ceiling cuz they thought it bad for the country to continue exponentially keep raising the debt limit. Of course, they folded as they always do and raised it anyway despite their promises.

This time the Dims are threatening to shut down the government because they don't want restricted illegal immigration and refuse to fund a wall.

The difference is, Dims ultimately will be successful whether it is stopping the wall through Congress or some half wit liberal judge in a circuit court somewhere. The other difference, of course, is that Dims despise the rule of law and simply ignore it.

That's cuz the US federal government is controlled by Dims no matter who is elected. There is no room for conservatives in the US federal government.

They shut it down just long enough to have the liberal press accuse the GOP of wasting government money and being obstructionists.

How much money do you reckon Chuck U. Schumer will waste? I also assume since you are part of the monolithic left you approve of the shut down this go round but not the last.

If the government shuts down, It is Trumps and the Republicans fault and NO one else. The same as last time, and when Bill Clinton was in office.

Of course, of course. And if donkeys fly out your rear it is the fault of Trump and the GOP as well.

Does a minority party have to vote for single proposal of the President wherever he wants? Obviously Schumer is saying that Trump and the Republicans can pass a bill IF they omit a ban on Planned Parenthood funding (which is tangential to a spending bill anyway) and do funding for a bill for the Wall separately (where there is no immediate need for resolution of that issue anyway). Your and the right wing blogosphere's hysterics to the contrary, this is hardly some unreasonable "hold your breath until you turn blue" tactic unlike the Cruz and Company tactic to kill all funding for the ACA (an ongoing program affecting tens of millions of Americans) that caused the prior government shutdown.

Please explain this to me (a simple European):

The US president and both their houses (I presume they're a sort of first and second chamber) are all republucant ruled.

How on Earth can the democrats still be in control of everything?

In the upper house of our legislature - the Senate - there is a procedural tactic called a filibuster where a minority can block a vote unless 3/5 of the members vote to end debate and force one. The Republicans hold only 52 out of 100 seats in the Senate, so the Democrats if they act in unity can block certain legislation (there are exceptions but this is the short version).

A perfectly reasonable way to run a country.

I find it interesting that after all your complaints about the size of the Federal government you are now behind Trump's efforts to toss more spending into the current continuing resolution which is supposed to pay only for normal day to day governmental expenses. From Mick Mulvaney, Director of the OMB:

“We want more money for defense, we want to build a border wall, and we want more money for immigration enforcement, law enforcement,”

    http://finance.yahoo.com/news/trump-pushes-congress-wall-avoid-125400745.html

Of course, we weren't supposed to need taxpayer money for the wall, since Mexico was going to pay for it.

whodey is nothing if not consistently inconsistent.

This would be a mistake. Just because the GOP does something stupid, does not mean the Democrats have to.

So you think Democrats should support a continuing resolution with non-day to day expenses like funding for the wall, extra money for defense and law enforcement and a ban on federal money going to Planned Parenthood?
