Not only does Congress rape it's citizens of adequate health care, as they lavish themselves with wonderful health care, they also literally are raping it's citizens courtesy of the US taxpayer to the tune of around $17 million to date to help fund the sexual battery.

Essentially it works like this, a Congressman rapes anyone they want. Then if the person is brave enough to "squeal", taxpayers give them hundreds of thousands of dollars, if not more, for their silence as they are paid for their services rendered.

    Nice.

Should we be surprised? Hell no!

Term limits anyone, or does everyone like funding the rapists lavish retirement accounts for being in office so many decades?

Is term limits your answer to everything?

    Maybe try voting?

Oh, they don't listen to you?

    Shocking.

I agree. These men should be fired and prosecuted, with no taxpayer money defending them. After all, paying off these women is an admission that their claims were valid.

How the hell can buying your way out of a crime even be legal?

Someone should put a stop to that, it stupid and disgusting.

So you rape someone... pay off the victim and go free to do it all over again? WTF!

Except it's not even the attackers paying off the victims; it's the government doing so with taxpayer money.

Sexually assault someone, and the government bails you out.
This is too sick to be real.

Harvey Weinerstein did it as well, as did Bill Cosby and the rest.

It's standard practice in the US. People prefer the money over holding them accountable.

They should pass a law that gives them the money if proven guilty so they can't buy their way out.

Just remember though, the very people that make our laws are our sexual predators.

    Term limits anyone?

It shouldn’t be up to the victim at all!!!

You rape, seriously hurt or kill someone, it’s society that should hold you accountable.

How the hell can you place that responsibility in the hands of the victim? That’s just mesjogge!
Victims can be coerced, can lie, might not be able to see their victimhood, etc.

And by allowing lawyers to haggle over the level of a crime is just as mad.

When I watch Special Vicims Unit (New York cop show) I’m constantly flabberghasted by the moronity of the system.

    Change the system.

Oh wait... the whole system is run by lawyers. And the lawyers need cases, because there’s so many of them. And there’s so many of them, because there are so many cases. And there has to be lots of cases, because the lawyers need a lot of money.

And they need that money if only to pay off their student debts (250.000 dollars... give or take).
And they have that debt, because the same people who own the loan companies own many of the law schools...

Yeah, I pretty much doubt you can change that system without a complete overhaul.

    Probably best to vote communist.

going against a reasonable thought just because the owner is whodey is intellectual weakness. dishonesty.

be fair. term limits is what is normal, not having that senile incompetent orrin hatch (and whoever else) be in office for 30+ years.

with term limits you might actually have senators do their jobs instead of being bought by the wealthy.

Do you think it possible that both "R"'s and "D"s will support term limits for Congress?

Even if they do, you still have the problem of Congress passing such measures. That's why I have called for evoking the Article V movement to have the states do it for them

After all, how likely is it that Congress will limit their own personal power? They had no problem limiting the terms of the President, citing corruption as the reason it was necessary. No, apparently they have no such issues. LOL.

Make no mistake, the legal system has created a world where the rich rape with impunity. If you are caught just pay your fee and the woman signs a paper to just go away.

Lawyers then make a profit. So how can we fix this when these same people are the ones who should be fixing it?
