Here's a Brit crew of scientists saying they think the virus broke out south of Wuhan and was in humans as early as September 2019.
Apparently they can tell that by the DNA. Incredible if true. But it is a good read and yet another convincing storyline as to where and when the CV came from.
@earl-of-trumps saidYeah I saw that report a while ago, apparently the virus carries a genetic signifier of some kind from from the cells of previous host and they can backtrack through the hosts to its origin but as the virus mutates and diverges mutations will have many origins.
