In politics and sports, what works is what people will try until it stops working.

The saddest thing about having a compulsive liar and zero-class President is that his success will inevitably breed copycats.

I don't think I have to point out that the ridiculously contrived (with racist undertones) "Cocaine Mitch" is a strategy that would have been utterly unthinkable 3 years ago but now might win a Senate seat (though I doubt he can beat Joe Manchin) for a hideously unqualified candidate.

Even if for no policy reason at all, it's time to impeach the a-hole-in-chief and restore some level of class to the political arena.

Buyer's remorse, eh sh76? Impeach Trump now, but it was too tough to vote against him in 2016? And in 2012 you voted for someone who knew Trump was compromised by the Kremlin (in addition to being wholly unqualified for anything other than presenting reality TV), yet did nothing to stop him from getting elected. Ouch!

Not biting on the third party vote issue. Been there. Done that.

I don't at all get the Romney reference, though. Romney came out forcefully against Trump during the primary process. Short of killing Trump, what else did you want Romney to do?

Just for clarity, who is the liberal? McConnell, Blankenship, Manchin or me? Or all of us?

Was talking about Ryan, actually. Romney's criticism was a bit meek, but at least he did speak out against Trump.

Impeachment of Trump sounds good until you realize Pence will take his place. Pence pushed for war with Iraq and peddled anthrax propaganda claiming it was genetically engineered by Iraq. Turned out it was genetically traced to be from a lab in the USA. When I found that out it was obvious that Trump was only pretending to be anti-establishment and was really the swamp creature that Trump pretended to be against.

Are you sure you want Pence as your president?

Voting in an American Presidential election is hardly about the VP candidate.

The bar's pretty low when it's a "good day" in American politics when no one completely bat s**t crazy wins a primary in any of four States.

    That was after the election.

You can't prevent someone from being elected after he's been elected.
