Trump and republican, well it USED to be called the republican party but now congressmen, senators have ZERO balls to even TALK about the corruption right out in the open by Trump.
Trump trying to put in pure crazies in high office not to help the common folk but to completely consolidate his personal power, the process has a name:
It is called 'Authoritarian Breakthrough', that day that an authoritarian has finally gotten control of all branches of office and NOTHING gets done without the authoritarians approval.
That day is fast coming here in the US, it is a disease metastasizing to all members of all levels of republicans now, for instance in North Carolina a bill going through was originally rules for dentistry but repubs lost all the major offices except auditor, now democrat AG, Senators, governor, and so forth
so the repub reply is to take over that bill and now called the disaster relief bill but it is anything but, it is in fact a bill to thwart any power of any democrat, a literal takeover of government in North Carolina and it is pissing off even REPUBLICAN congressmen in areas hit by the hurricanes because the relief has been cut by 75 % for hurricane recovery because of republican zeal to seize power by changing the rules where the AG cannot bring lawsuits to counter such takeovers as one example and to make the electoral count go to the AUDITOR, formally a totally different function but that is the one office repubs won so it would be republicans controlling the vote count.
Corruption right out in the open and they are not even allowing citizens to see the issues, kicked out of the building.
This is how it will go for the entire country with Trump in as King Trump, already LITERALLY above the law, the only person in US history to be literally above the law. So choke on your fuuking victory, all you repubs who voted your new King in office.
@sonhouse saidsonhouse - Your info. here is legitimate, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. GOP lawmakers are already circling the wagons and opposing a number of Trump's ideas, the military has plans to "slow walk" his directives, and it would take only a few GOP defectors in the house (and they do exist) to make him a lame duck President. Yes, he'll probably get his pretty glamour girl confirmed as Attorney General to steam his pants, but much of his agenda will be simply hot air. It's only a matter of time before he falls on his own sword.

@sonhouse
That fuuker Phil Berger (NC senate) does this every time the GOP loses. 😆
“The bill is a reminder of legislation that Republicans approved in late 2016, weeks before Cooper was to succeed Republican Gov. Pat McCrory, that also weakened the governor’s powers. That led to demonstrations, arrests and years of lawsuits.”
Voter choice? Doesn’t matter. That’s their attitude.
@mchill saidI am in Australia but still scared of what impact the Trump policies will have.

They say Make America Great Again - you have to laugh; all America is made up of a bunch of immigrants; so will Trump deport himself?
Apart from the original Indians of course.
@mchill saidThat would be great if it happens that way.

@MartinS saidAnd will he deport his wife? Also, his 'bible' is made in China, I bet the tariff won't happen on HIS stuff.

@spruce112358 saidWe knew ahead of time that would happen and so does the Governor know that as well.
@sonhouse
Act 2:
Governor Cooper vetoes the Republican power grab. But Repubs can override.

The question here is how many other repub states will follow suit.
