i dont really celebrate easter. it is a holiday that has so many astrological relevances to it that only the enlightened folk can make the connections. it is as though scientists created the jesus story.
for example, on the 22, the 23, and the 24 of december, the sun stays in the sky in the eastern hemisphere and does not move! it is similar to jesus being buried in the earth for three days and finally resurrects on the third day. on the 25 of december, the sun finally makes 1 degree procession upward, and the days get longer finally.
what do you think about this? emcrypted scientific alllegories or a load of coincidences? let me hear your comments!
it's good to know that youre not closed minded like so many christians devoid of the truth are. it's scary to see how far we've come from the truth because the truth is so obvious it defies explanation! the charge that astrological means determines the date of easter is so plan, yet you will get arguments on something as obvious as that!
Yeah, I'm not convinced on the whole religion thing, but I can't completely disprove it either - there are always questions unanswered in either case.
Did Jesus exists - almost certainly
Was he born under a bright stat - more than possibly
Was he the son of a higher being - who knows
Was he crucified - almost certainly
Did he resurrect by pushing the stone of his tomb down a hill - highly unlikely

On a lighter note, happy easter. He has arisen!!!
Edit: If you have not realized by now I am one of those small minded unenlightened folks you were talking about. :'(
