we decided we don't want to see charlie rose and louis CK and O'Reilly on TV. we got them fired. we, the public opinion, not a court of law. they won't go to jail (even if Moore should) but it's still better than nothing. if you do something reprehensible, you lose your job at the very least.
Yet you could just as well of harmed an innocent person. You or I neither know the truth on this.

Democrats manipulated the black voters again. Remember when George Wallace manipu ...[text shortened]... ng him? The cant see they are a resource to dems at election time then are forgotten soon after.
"Democrats manipulated the black voters again."
Does Mott-the-Hoopie claim that African Americans are too stupid to vote?
Does he believe that they need white Republicans to decide what's best for them?

Who does Mott-the-Hoopie presume has been 'convicted without a trial'?
Certainly not Roy Moore.
Mott-the-Hoopie finds it too painful to concede that enough of Alabama's voters (or potential voters)
found several women's accusations of sexual misconduct credible enough that they refused
to vote for Roy Moore. It's unnecessary to have Roy Moore's guilt proven beyond a
reasonable doubt in court for people to decide not to vote for him.

It's fine for people to refuse to vote for an unpopular candidate--that's how the system works.
But it would be wrong for jurors to vote to convict anyone on account of one's unpopularity.
And some unpopular innocent people have been wrongly convicted and punished.
