And yet all of these people decry wealth and wealthy people, and they sneer at people for being selfish, while trying to get wealthy themselves. Taylor Swift votes for Democrats, they never questioned her wealth. Billy Irish is out there doing the same thing, nobody questions, Bruce Springsteen, and his wealth. I would love somebody to explain to me, how do you justify your animosity towards rich people while seeking to become rich yourselves. Unless you think you are part of the new privileged class. A big problem is that you all started using Marxist, Communist, Socialist, Progressive, Liberal, Democrat (which are all different things) all as one term, so nothing you write actually makes any sense.
No politician should ever be engaged in the stock market. It's a conflict of interest from the very start of the conversation.

Nowhere in the Constitution are citizens charged with an obligation to support other citizens. Yet, all of your 'categories' have that one thread running through them. . Europe is capitalist. What they do have is more welfare than the USA, but by no stretch of the imagination can you call them socialist, or leaning toward socialism.
Socialism is a system of public ownership of all resources, and no private individuals own any resources. There is no such thing in Europe, and never will be.
When communist countries have their revolution, it always focuses on seizing all assets from the wealthy.
The wealth gap between rich and poor was so oppressive, something had to be done.
Strange things then happen.
The rich in those countries (heads of state) become filthy rich, and the people are more impoverished than ever.
Kim Jong un - His net worth was 5 billion dollars since 2013. People. dirt poor.
Both Castros and families are multi billionaires. The people are far more poor than ever, dirt poor.
