I sense you are being sarcastic.
Why would they carry their garbage from the beach all the way inland to the autobahn ?
I think they left trash all over because it reminds them of home.

The problem is that most of these Europeans believe in socialism. That will be their downfall. If they keep this attitude, in 20 to 50 years they will be Muslim countries under Sharia Law. If the USA keeps putting the Democrat Party in control, the same fate awaits.

The Europeans do not know anything different. Socialism has some good benefits but it discourages hard work and self improvement. Why else do you think the USA has degraded so much already? Why work hard when the government will take your hard earned money and give it to the person on welfare that has a new x box and lives on pizza and beer in his parents basement?

No. What discourages hard work and self-improvement is a totalitarian hierarchical power structure. When workers have little input in how things are done within their own departments, efficiency suffers and everything goes to rot. We see this in capitalist corporations all the time. We see it in democracies designed without proper checks and balances. And yes, historically we've seen it in command economies such as the Soviet Union (which essentially was a monolithic corporation). In every instance the problem stems from an unaccountable elite at the top of an impersonal hierarchy lacking proper two-way channels of communication.

What Europe has, in large part, is democratic socialism, which is a blending of socialist and capitalist economic structures in the framework of a political democracy. It seems to work well enough in Europe's little corner of the world. It doesn't work perfectly, of course, for Europe is dependent upon a global economy that is extremely volatile for a variety of reasons.

That would be something, the Muslim population in the US going from 4% now to 60 odd percent in 20 years. It could happen. Right.

Using what empirical measure have you determined that "socialism" discourages "hard work" and "self improvement (sic)"?

German companies seem to be offering their employees a living wage. Imagine that?

Even while the purveyors of corporate guff would have you believe that more money to those at the bottom is a disaster, they’ll claim that extra cash to those at the top is just deserts. Take Andy Harrison, the boss of the company that’s parent to Costa Coffee and Premier Inns, who claims that a higher minimum wage represents a “substantial cost increase”. How then would he describe the £4.5m total pay package that he took last year?

However superb Harrison’s management skills, he is earning more than 343 full-time workers on the minimum wage – and even Superman wasn’t that productive. His employer, Whitbread, claims the wage rise will cost it somewhere between £15m and £20m . That sounds high, until you look at the annual report and work out that Harrison and his four executive directors between them took £13.7m out of the company last year. It must be a fine balance – paying thousands of staff a little more or awarding millions to a tiny clique in a boardroom.

It could happen, but I am betting it want because Donald Trump will be elected President. He will build a wall, stop Muslim immigration, and make America Great Again. I believe that will also help Germany.

Not in 20 years, but eventually it's possible.
Look at what happened to America in the past 50 years since our enlightened 1965 immigration law was passed , it's now nothing like the country I grew up in.
