To say that the United States has been the most detrimental nation to the rest of the world by a country mile is off the planet. There are certainly criticisms to be made of it, but so are there of any country. Most countries in Europe have pretty appalling records, but since many of them aren't as powerful as they once were they are out of the spotlight. Also, what about nations that were fascist? Do you think America is worse than Nazi Germany was?
