For all the nay sayers who said he was just a fad voters would get over, there's nothing much in the way of Le Donalde getting the GOP nomination, other than Cruz or Rubio bowing out and the other getting all their votes.

So gentlemen what say ye? Trump has the momentum to win the hearts and minds?

An outsider's point of view: 320 million people, and Trump is the best you can come up with?

You say that so confidently, like it's obvious. But that's the point of this thread. Everyone kept thinking Trump would just fade away, and yet he keeps doing better and better as time goes on.

People usually vote with their pocket book.

It's like when people voted for Obama who promised cheaper health for the same policy. Naturally, he lied as Americans continued to see their standard of living decrease and health care policies change. Now comes Bernie to save those whose standards of living decreased by giving us more empty promises of cheaper health care, which will cause our standard of living to slip even further.

Trump, on the other hand, is seen as a money man who can "make things happen". He gives people hope of actually improving their standard of living rather than hoping for more government hand outs like a begger on the street.

Trump is a complete moron as opposed to a partial one.

Not as big of a moron as the rest of the GOP it seems

And if he wins, not as big of a moron as the rest of the DNC.

Politics is all about winning, not being competent. They lie with impunity and strut around like roosters trying to win a mate.

Then they get to decide the fate of all of humanity.

This is what happens when you centralize power to the Executive like Progs have done over the years. Now the US holds an all powerful seat in the Oval Office whose nomination depends on a circus show.

    Well done Progs.

Not my first choice, but it seems a lot of people like him, and I'll take his all day long against the likes of Hillary and Bernie.

If you have trouble "finding fault" with Trump you may want to consider some self-reflection.

I have some problems with Trump, and with almost everyone else running, but I don't give a hoot about politics in France.

Trump would probably be more publicly embarrassing but as far as policy Rubio or Cruz would be worse Presidents.
