    Well:

    Trump:
A dream come true. Everything about him, his advisors and everything he says is hilarious.

    Brexit:
This will be Scottish independence. The pro-Brexit campaign convinced the turkeys to vote for Christmas... I'm gonna enjoy watching them stew.

    Wilders:
Alas... since I live in this pancake of a country (flat) maybe not quite as amusing as it should be. He's gonna get a lot of votes; probably 2nd largest party.
But, even if he's the largest party, he's not gonna get into the cabinet: nobody wants to work with him (he is a fascist, after all).

This is going to end up giving him more power (in an agrieved sort of a way).
And it's all gonna lead to more friction within Dutch society.

Maybe not so much a banana republic, but more of a tulip monarchy.

Given that he is a one man party, even if he got a majority of votes, how can he govern? Doesn't he need someone in the upper house? And while people say he is on the nose while he is not yet in the majority, could things change if he emerged the winner?

I always vote as left-wing as possible (so SP today).
Although to be perfectly honest, I find them all a bunch of bastards.

I don't necessarily vote as left-wing as possible. Used to vote for GL, but they kinda lost it. Was considering SP as well, filled in de stemwijzer and surprisingly it came up SP, so that's what I went with.

And now I feel dirty :/

I hope you gentlemen will do the decent thing and vote for Mr. Greet. He seems a very amicable and friendly man with the best interests of our Dutch cousins at hand.

Did you specifically edit your post to change Geert into Greet?

Greet (short for Gertruida, the Dutch version of Gertrude) is a traditional Dutch women's name.

Like a true elitist intellectual I voted for D66, of course. I am not quite sufficiently subhuman to consider voting PVV.

So the nearly illiterate Vivify finally concedes one of his many errors in 'reading comprehension'.
