The post that was quoted here has been removedI truly feel for men who are female inside. I know it exists, easily understood when one realizes now complex a body is, quadrillions of cells, any one of which can become skewed, and lead to a miserable existence. So, I personally understand the need for physical and emotional change.
The problem is the other people.... in the sports world, in the worlds where physical competition is involved. The trans guy-to-girl will win purely because of physical makeup, which is impossible to overcome by a similarly athletic person. I've read many opinions,.....who here thinks that that is fair?
Can not the trans be reasonable, and for the miracle of the sex change, give up that which is unfair?
@averagejoe1 saidAnd what other rights would you have them give up?

@Suzianne I don't think the issue brought up by Average Joe is irrelevant. He has a valid point. The fact is there are differences in strength between the genders which is why participation on teams has been separated by sex. I do not know the answer but I don't think it's an all or nothing issue. Personally, I have never been enthralled by spectator sports or competitive sports although I am athletic and hike, paddle, peddle, sail and ski.
@phranny saidSue, be reasonable. You and I and Sonhouse are sitting the stands. He has a trans racing against our little girls. He is screaming "Go Tania, run run, kick butt, you got this!!!" You and I are thinking about the development of our young ladies as they prepare to compete in the world, a level-playing field if you will. We are seeing this abomination (sorry, that is all I can call it) , and my precious little girl is involved in it, being overcome by competition on a playing field the I put her on? Like, could it be my fault? I bury my head in my hands, you console me. What do you say to me?

Sonhouse: "Yay, go girl!!! You won!!! I am so proud!!"
@phranny saidI just don't think that men who call them "abominations" should be in charge of deciding whether they can keep their rights they deserve as Americans.

To accept that there is no definition of what it is to feel female (or male).
“So, you have feeling X. Well, that’s perfectly fine in the body you’ve got.”
No Maddie. You’re not old enough to vote, decide what your bedtime is or even what food is healthy for you. You’re certainly not old enough to imagine that body mutulation is a healthier choice than acceptance.
No Maddie’s parents. People have lived within their bodies they weren’t perfectly happy with for millions of years. It’s not the body that is wrong, it’s the brain thinking the body is wrong which is the problem.
There is nothing wrong with Maddie feeling like Maddie in the body she’s got. It’s a perfectly beautiful body as it is.
Oh, it doesn’t exactly match what she thinks it should be? Well, yeah, some people want bigger balls and some people want bigger breasts too. You don’t always get what you want in life.
Yes, Maddie’s doctors, we do now have the possibiltiy of surgeory. But just because you can earn buckets full of money by chopping off kids’ balls, doesn’t mean you should.
Yeah. She won’t ever be able to have children eh? No. Nothing important. You know. Perfectly fine for one of the key points of life to be removed from a kid.
Yeah, no, nothing unethical there at all, eh?
It’s bollox Duchess. If Maddie wants to be called Maddie and run around in a dress, perfectly fine. And society should accept it.
It is not acceptable to mutulate children.
@shavixmir
There was a pretty famous case of Trans, by a captain in the USAF, a doctor. So he decided to switch to female. The thing about that was this: It was arguably the most spectacular change anyone had ever seen.
He/she was frigging BEAUTIFUL.
So starting his/her new life, she/he found out to his dismay he didn't like sex with men.
Now he/she has become a lesbian.....
Go figure. A wee late to go back to having balls.....
