whodey couldn't nail his hand. Here's the political realities:

Women have been more critical than men of Donald Trump’s performance as president, his personality, and his policies. They have given Trump a lower approval rating throughout his presidency. In Gallup’s assessment of Trump’s first year, 33 percent of women (an annual average) compared to 45 percent of men approved of the job he was doing. In a February Quinnipiac University poll of registered voters, 42 percent of women compared to 62 percent of men approved of his handling of the economy. Both men and women gave Trump lower marks on handling foreign policy. Only 29 percent of women approved compared to 46 percent of men. In an NBC News/Wall Street Journal question from January, 58 percent of women (compared to 46 percent of men) said they didn’t like him personally and they disapproved of many of this policies. Only a quarter of women in a new Quinnipiac poll thought Trump respected women as much as men. And nearly 6 in 10 women, 59 percent, said he is biased against them. Women are more Democratic than men, and their antipathy to Trump is fueling their views about the 2018 contests. Most women (56 percent in a February Quinnipiac poll) said they wanted to see the Democrats control Congress. Thirty-two percent preferred the GOP.

Anyone remember 1980s "Newhart" on TV? I'm reminded.

"Hi, I'm 'Motley' and these are my brothers 'whodey' and 'whodey.'"

    Great comedy.

Hell no, Dims won't vote for him. He says that the socialist agenda cannot be realistically implemented in a country so heavily in debt.

Maybe if he dyed his hair purple and pierced his nipples and had a sex change would they consider putting him in the DNC platform, but probably not even then.
Howard Schultz has a reputation for being extremely pro-Israeli, which provoked a past
boycott by Palestinian activists of Starbucks. So Whodey admires something about him.

Meanwhile, Trump's approval rating tops Obama and Bush at this time in their presidencies. So when the Left flails its arms and pulls the fire alarm, telling everyone Trump is the worst president in history and everyone hates him... well... the rest of us take it with a grain of salt, shrug our shoulders, and get back to work.

Today, according to rasmussen reports, Trump hit 47% approval among likely voters, compared to Obama at the same time who had 46%.

Are you contesting the Bush comparison? Maybe Bush was higher and the other president I heard mentioned was Reagan.

Anyway, he just surpassed Obama, which made it newsworthy enough to invoke a discussion on the radio.

Rasmussen is an unreliable pollster who uses obsolete methods and has a strong Republican bias.

It's best to use the aggregate of polls in 538 or Real Clear Politics. Rasmussen is an outlier; most other polls have Trump at 40-41%. This is lower than Obama and every other President in the last 60+ years except possibly Ford.

    CNN: 44%
    NBC: 44%
    FOX: 45%

While rasmussen (for obvious reasons) is not your poll of choice, your 40-41% is way off.

Well, the Real Clear Politics aggregate is 42.9% approval with 53.1% disapproval; 538's numbers are 41.5% to 52.7%. If you go to the latter's article "How Popular is Donald Trump" you'll find graphs comparing his approval rating with every President since Truman. And he's below every one but Ford at this point in the term.
