Starmer's approval rating has already plummeted. Very odd for a new PM. I doubt he'll be given much a chance.

UK voters have been gradually shifting to right-wing ideology. If Tories were able to do at least a decent job of running the economy, they would still be in power.

That's the problem. Tory ideology will inevitably lead to economic ruin.

Voters who support Tories aren't able to see that. They think Tories simply need to get their act together when bad economic policy is built into their ideology.

You're probably right that Tories will regain power in 5 years. But the same cycle lining their own pockets (and xenophobia) will continuing destroying the UK.
