The point I am trying to make is that this thread seems to be based on the idea that every despot/dodgy politician is whatever label they give themselves, you end up with the ridiculous conclusion that socialism is to blame for the holocaust, and democracy is responsible for any crimes committed by any one who calls themselves a "democrat". Its all about perspectic, from my point of view the u.s body politic consists of two groups of ultra conservatives vying for the conservative throne of a conservative nation, and any u.s conservatives on this forum can 'chill out' you have nothing to fear.

No, the problem are statists who try to exert their power and influence in every crack and crevace they than find whether it be domestic or international. Personally, I think the terms "capitalist" and "socialist" are meaningless labels in that regard.
