Here's what his pandering to Israel resulted in:

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/may/14/israel-tells-palestinians-they-are-risking-lives-in-us-embassy-protests

41 unarmed protesters dead, many more wounded.

    As Amnesty International says:

This is another horrific example of the Israeli military's use of excessive force and live ammunition. It is a violation of human rights and international standards.

Trump has no plan that could possibly achieve peace between Israel and the Palestinians.

Maybe they could make some attempt at not murdering them in cold blood.

Google What do the Palestinians want from Israel? for an answer or several.

Edit; One clue is in referring to the two sides as "Israel" - a state - and Palestine as "the Palestinians" - a group of people.

Also, Trump's evangelical base is expecting Armageddon.

Well I guess that would prove once and for all that Trump really is the anti-Christ.

Moreover, both Hamas and Netanyahu/Likud have to be replaced or reformed before there can be credible peace negotiations. Of course, the notion that Donald Trump can provide any positive contribution to such negotiations isn't taken seriously by anyone with at least a rudimentary ability to contain oral fluids.

It’s their bloody country! Of course they should be let in.

You can’t keep kids locked in refugee camps and expect them to love you.

Phranny (a 'liberal' American Jew) has claimed NOT to support Israel's oppression of the Palestinians.
But I cannot recall her ever significantly criticizing Israel for oppressing the Palestinians.
On the other hand, she has accused critics of Israel of being anti-Semitic (a standard pro-Israeli tactic).
Indeed, Phranny has falsely accused me of hating all Jews, even though I have quoted
some Jews who concur with my condemnations of Israel's oppression of the Palestinians.

If Phranny wants to accuse me of lying, then she's free to quote from any of her
supposed earlier posts significantly criticizing Israel's oppression of the Palestinians.
It would not be enough to say that she would not vote for Netanyahu because Israel's
oppression of the Palestinians extends far beyond that one right-wing racist leader.

As far as I can infer from her actual record of posts (not her disingenuous claims about that record),
Phranny does generally approve of Israel's oppression of the Palestinians while pretending
that she's not, in the hope of avoiding being criticized as a supporter of that Israeli oppression.

I await Phranny's significant criticisms of Israel now, but I am not going to hold my breath.

It's unfair or misleading to compare Hamas and Likud (or all Israeli political parties at least
as right-wing as Likud) as obstacles to peace negotiations (which Israel has long delayed
or protracted while it keeps seizing more Palestinian land for Jewish settlements).

The government of Hamas represents, at most, only the Palestinians in Gaza, not the
more numerous Palestinians in the West Bank. But the government of 'Netanyahu/Likud'
represents the entire state of Israel, including the IDF.

My point is that Israel, not the Palestinians, is chiefly to blame for injustice and strife.
