Turning a Blind Eye to Discrimination in China

In China, there is systemic discrimination against non-Han Chinese. Ethnic minorities -- about 10 percent of the Chinese population -- are routinely denied access to elite universities and urban job markets in the name of Han supremacy. Under China's internal passport system, many non-Han aren't permitted to even look for work outside of their rural provinces. Tibetan and Uighur citizens are often barred from using Chinese hotels.

Not only does China have its own version of Jim Crow, it still has its own version of slavery. Under its prison labor system, laogai -- "reform through labor" -- millions of slaves churn out all manner of "Made in China" wares and even provide many of the organs for transplant surgeries in China.

Other ideas that arouse rage ("cultural appropriation," "cultural genocide," "occupation," "xenophobia"😉 get much less attention in the Middle Kingdom than they do elsewhere. The Han are simultaneously erasing minority cultures and reducing them to kitsch for Chinese tourists. Mongols now make up less than 20 percent of Inner Mongolia's population. Minority languages aren't taught in many schools in places such as Tibet. [More...]

It's a shame that all those people had to die in Mao's "Great Leap
Forward" only to find that China ended up going backwards.

Like I said.

People look after their own kind.
As natural as taking a dump.

Only whites get blamed for looking after their own.

Ya, but not sure it equates. How many states have involuntary prison labor?

Few, I bet. I know I'm not in one.

Now, back to China and Jim Crow....

I recently read an article about racism in Cuba, another communist Shangri-La

What is it with socialists/communists being racist?? I don't get it. I thought they
were supposed to be against racism? They sure scream it here in the US.

I agree.

I think it is the ultimate hidden agenda.

They (The Nazis) lost before with racism so they came up with a new plan.

Incorporate everyone into a "Brown Shirt Nazi" mentality and call it liberal/leftist and then when in power switch over to open racism.

The Leftist power people are white and so is Antifa.

You'll see ...

Get in power and soon we will see troops marching and tanks at every corner.

White troops.
The Left ain't fooling this drunk, no sir!

We do not "discriminate" Zhuang/Miao/Tujia and some.

For LaoGai, did i live a dream when i saw the film “The Shawshank Redemption”?
