    1) Sarcasm is linguistically and culturally dependent. While extremely arrogant Westerners like
    to believe that they always know best, they often fail to appreciate sarcasm in other cultural contexts.

    2) I often use sarcasm, and even some white readers here are not so prejudiced that they fail to notice it.
    My sarcasm often is aimed toward the endemic racism or sexism in this white male-dominated forum,
    so many white men tend to respond with anger, hatred, and insults rather than appreciation.
