Some people are skeptical that Khashoggi's apple watch was recording his murder. I don't know that much about cell phone technology so I will ask those that do to give their opinions on this matter.

There is another possibility that the Turks would not reveal voluntarily. They could have bugged the consulate. Bugging of embassies has happened before.

We KNOW the Turks bugged that embassy, the question is whether they included hidden video cams as well.

Trump doesn't believe it, he just doesn't care. He could be honest and say economic interests are more important than the life of a journalist but that would be too honest.
All presidents were well aware of SA's horrible human rights abuses and did nothing. The truth is none of them cared. Democrats and republicans both, didn't give a crap about public beheadings of people who merely criticized the kingdom. The only thing new about this is that it took place on foreign land. That and the dismemberment that may have been done while he was still alive. I'm still waiting for the recordings to be released for confirmation of that.

Well, they had video outside of the consulate. Given that the Turks identified the Saudi hit squad I wonder what will happen to them. They were loyal to the regime on one hand, got caught on the other.

turkey does not have LTE which would be required to do this. It would be possible thru wifi or blue tooth but there would have to be specific settings made before hand.
