On this manufactured sacred day, I purpose we all take a moment to silently (or publicly) express our collective relief and gratitude for the biggest gift of modern history.

As hard as it may be to wrap our minds around, today marks the 457th day we as a species has been living on borrowed time.
457 days ago, we ventured into the unknown and uncharted territory of climate change disaster.
On May 13, 2014, together with the august and very scientifically informed John Kerry, French Foreign Minister Laurent "Larry-not-Curly-or-Moe" Fabius announced we had 500 days before chips, ships and dips were going to hit the global fan and all hell was going to break loose, climatically-speaking.

Borrowed time, my fellow high plain drifters.
    Borrowed time.

The Browns winning the Super Bowl is so impossible it did not even make the 7th sign.
