New beds for illegals; Not for homeless?

Thank you for this post. It will be educational for people who do not have common sense , and make up silly propositions of what is going on in the real world…. people who think we have a duty of care for these immigrants. If a man walks illegally into my yard, and I am surprised by him standing there, do I have an obligation to find him a place to sleep.? This is a common sense approach to this particular problem, a perfect analogy for same. Bless these posters, they cannot comprehend such a concept without coming back with silliness.

But you are ok with denying help to American Indians, first nation folks who have been suppressed for generations. They were here 15 thousand years ago and in the last 400 years 90% dead not even from war but from diseases Europeans brought with them. Even now they are suppressed, the few who have survived do it with casino's and tourism but the government pretty much ignores their plight.
My wife is part native American, her grandmother was raised on a rez.
Her first husband is full blood Hawaiian and they are treated like shyte in Hawaii.
Don't forget the Indian schools where the children were ripped from parents arms and forced to attend our schools, forbidden to speak their own language and hundreds died at the hands of the ones running those schools because they thought of them as sub human and only forcing them to learn western thought was the way to turn them into actual humans.
That went on well into the 20th century and the same thing happened in Canada.
I wonder how many American Indians do you even KNOW much less call a friend, forget black or brown friends.
