You beat me to it in starting the thread!

I wonder when utherpendragon will be able to respond? First off, he'll have to recover from the fit of apoplexy, then he'll have to buy himself a new computer to replace the smashed one I picture him in front of.

If I could be anywhere in the world right now, I'd like to be in uther's mum's basement. Mother will be banging on the door, wondering what is wrong as he thrashes around like an animal in a trap.

Whether or not Obama deserves the Nobel, kudos to them for granting us hours of madness!

Some Americans will not be happy that their black president
is getting lots of love from those damn Euroweenies.

The terrorists have won. The Nobel committee hates America.

Seriously, though... this is a heavy load of lulz!

    LOL! We can only hope.

But this is a joke. Has the Obama propaganda machine lost their mind? I think that this might actually undermine him, because everybody can see this was a pure marketing move and helps the case that he's all smoke and mirrors.

Yup, this stuff is only helping the conservative propaganda machine, not
    otherwise.

Now Obama has to make a bold demagogic move and decline in favor of
something vague and sentimental, like "for the American democracy" or
"for the hope of millions of Americans". You know, that stuff that
Americans like a lot, like the speech of Tom Cruise in "A Few Good Men".

Excuse my ignorance, but what exactly has Obama done for peace ... ? What did the Nobel Muppets have to say?

"Only very rarely has a person to the same extent as Obama captured the world's attention and given its people hope for a better future," quoth the muppets.

"His diplomacy is founded in the concept that those who are to lead the world must do so on the basis of values and attitudes that are shared by the majority of the world's population."

You should watch the clip, for nothing else but it's humour value. I love the guy in the background.

I think Obama was a good choice for president (especially after Bush), but I agree he hasn't been all
that exceptional about promoting world peace. I guess for an American president, it's big not to have
    attacked other countries.

Muppets is the proper word alright, but then the nobel price most (not all) genrés, has been a joke
    for some years now, yes?

It would be awesome if Obama pulled a Sartre on them. Doubt it, though.
