It is notable in this forum that there are posters who push an ideology to the point of making fools of themselves and requiring the most ridiculous amount of lying and other nonsense to support. There are also posters who seem to push the idea that there are no such things as 'facts' and everything is just opinion.
Now we know from countries like China and Russia that hiring teams of people to push ideology on the internet is not uncommon - specifically the types of ideology we see here.
So, how many of the posters here do you think are paid to push their propaganda?

Right here? Not many, this forum is small time. But there is of course a sort of "contagion" effect, where trolls spread propaganda online, which is in turn spread by the gullible victims of said propaganda.

    Agreed.
The forum has maybe 30 people who are consistently chiming in, and the always-posting circle is even tighter.
I highly doubt whatever group which would pay for such activity would feel this place offers much bang for the buck.
Just too small of a sample field, in my opinion.
Reddit, however, or You Tube I have definitely seen such activity.

And you are part of that problem here. He was refering to you BTW among others. I guess that escaped your notice.

We already know nobody here is getting paid to be an assswipe. He is just practicing for the real thing.

Maybe they have my account number wrong?
I have been on here for twelve years and still haven't received my promised riches.
On the plus side, I get to use my phone charges as a business write-off.
So I got that going for me.

Ah, that makes perfect sense when you put it that way.
He wrote it--- people getting paid to post--- for me, but I'm not getting paid.
    Check.

And what is this "real thing" of which you squeal, exactly?

    You shut your smart mouth.
They only give me merchandise and their pens run out of ink every time I take them to the ISS so they're basically worthless.

Zahlanzi is paid by HBO to promote the John Oliver show.

    HBO is getting ripped off.

Swear to God that show is like a Pez dispenser full of crack for its indoctrinated rabid followers, whose allegiance is so strong despite a lack of any thought-provoking content it would remain popular even if they put a suit on a drunk kangaroo and dubbed their bland right-hate rants over its howling.

The program is essentially "news" for people who can't be bothered to watch the news (i.e., millennials).
