Aside from the fact that I don't know what language she's crying about (I certainly hope she's not crying over Joe Wilson's "You lie" outburst), does anyone else perceive a little bit of a veiled threat in the last 10 seconds of the clip?

    Edit:

Okay; let's assume you're a liberal and defender of President Obama and you really think that there's all sorts of racist sentiment out there against Obama.

Don't you think the Dems are starting to take this a bit far?

You best be careful about the words you use to attack your leaders. After all, if things continue to deteriorate.....well.....lets just say that they may just have to take care of business, if you kwow what I mean. And they know where you live.

I saw the comments. She was evidently worried about there being another Harvey Milk tragedy - an event that probably had an especially deep, personal impact on her.

I understand her concern. The atmosphere is also a lot like what preceded the Oklahoma City bombing.

But Boehner's response to Pelosi's comments was puzzling. He brought up the issue of race. But Pelosi never said anything about race. It's possible the soundbites here were misleading.

I do think that there is a lot of racism at these rallies. Not that the majority are racist but a surprisingly bold minority certainly are.

You're smart enough to know that you don't have to call some one a racial slur or say "because he's (insert race)" to be racist or for your view to be racist.

Sure a lot of people play the race card when it's not there, but others are so excited to downplay the race card that they won't admit it when it stars them in the face.

    Ooh, very true. Nice catch.
