The notion that terrorists hate us because of our freedom is absurd. They hate us because we keep invading countries, yet Russia is bad for invading one country for understandable reasons. We still occupy 1/3 of Syria. That is an unprovoked invasion.

When our government keeps bombing people all over the world for reasons they will not tell us you need to expect terrorism. We create terrorists, then we fight them. Not the other way around. People do not hate Americans for no reason. We keep bombing them without provocation.
