Now that "the Donald" in his infinite wisdom went to Europe and trashed 70+ years of US - European relations, economic and military cooperation with Europe is weaker, and Putin is dancing with joy! If Obama or Clinton had done such a thing the GOP would be screaming for their heads, but it's A-OK when the Trumpster does it. Tell us again how smart you are Donald! 😞

But did they figure he would upset the world order so much that the US new ally is Russia?

And that the threat of a world war for their sons and grand children would have increase so much?

Sorry to tell you folks in Europe the people who voted for Donald Trump have the I.Q. of goats. Such is the state of our education system over here. 😞

IQ does not equal education. mchill shows a deficiency in both with this statement.

There's a fairly strong correlation between IQ and education.

Though, that is dropping with the increased number of people getting longer educations.

Just to be clear, my position is:

    - A person can be educated but not very intelligent.
    - And folk that have not been educated may be quite intelligent.

....and you're saying that's bollocks? You disagree with that position?

If you want to argue on a personal level, then yes, of course, you can have very intelligent people with no education and vice versa.
However, if you look at an aggregated level then there is fairly strong correlation between education and IQ.

If you want to look at an aggregated level then there is fairly strong correlation. And since this is about the US voters it's an aggregated level.

And it would have nothing to do with people learning how to pass IQ tests.

    That is your contention?

I don't see how you get from what I write to that question.

I am saying that the correlation you speak of occurs not because people are more intelligent but because they learn how to pass IQ tests.

This old chestnut is always raised by people who do badly
on IQ tests but have an inflated view of their own intelligence.
