Okay, as a total amateur who only got as far as calculus in college, I'll give it a try. With a fresh mind tomorrow.*Originally posted by Duchess64***After taking a break last week, I am too busy with work now to have much time**

to write here. So I shall just present a recreational mathematical problem

that the readers might enjoy attempting to solve. This problem requires little

mathematical knowledge, just a bit of mathematical insight. I don't know of a

published source for this problem. When ...[text shortened]... any professional mathematicians here allow amateurs

the opportunity to solve this problem. - 09 Apr '13 20:01

No knowledge of calculus is required to solve these mathematical problems.*Originally posted by Kunsoo***Okay, as a total amateur who only got as far as calculus in college, I'll give it a try. With a fresh mind tomorrow.**

These problems are intended to be recreational, comparatively non-technical

(which is nice given the absence of mathematical symbols on my keyboard).

I already have posted the solutions, yet good luck to you in your efforts.
