On the 15th of April, there were thousands that took to the streets all over the US in protest of governmental spending called Tea Parties. From the main media's perspective, it was a debacle because they felt the turn out was poor. In fact, they say the movement is dead. When asked, Obama claimed not to know anything about them. LOL. So the question is, is this a fading fad or a movement gaining momentum which will soon clash with the powers that be?
Of course, I would like to avoid this thread from becoming partisan. After all, Bush doubled the national debt and Obama is set to do far worse than his counterpart. In short, what we need is REAL change.
Read my lips, NO NEW EARMARKS!! I wonder if Obama had his fingers crossed when he made the promise to the American people? Apparently Obama knew going into the office that reckless governmenttal spenidng was a problem after having made such a promise but apparently felt as if he had no choice but to allow them once in office.
