A female Islamic professor sparked a controversy when she claimed that Allah (God) makes permissible for Muslim men to rape non-Muslim women in order to ‘humiliate’ them.

"Deuteronomy 21:10-14: The Beautiful Captive Woman"
    --Pearl Elman

"The biblical text of Deuteronomy 21:10-14 deals with the treatment of sexually desirable
non-Jewish women who are captured in war. It addresses the sexual privileges of the captors..."

"As these women were heathens and by definition sexually desirable, the sages felt
threatened by the possibility that the captive women's sexual power might entice
men away from Judaism. This attitude can be seen in the way the laws applicable
to the captive woman were developed.

Other than the compassion displayed by Maimonides, there was very little if any
sympathy expended on the plight of the captive. ...

There was no uniform opinion as to when the first intercourse was permitted.
The timing varied from immediately after the battle, but in a private place, to not
until after thirty days and conversion. Clearly, there was coercion in both cases,
whether physical or psychological or both.

According to the Bavli, first intercourse could occur before the captive arrived at
the man's home, perhaps as soon as the actual fighting stopped."

Evidently, at least under some interpretations, Jewish men were allowed to coerce
(or force?) captured (powerless) non-Jewish women into having sexual intercourse.
This may not have been defined as rape then, but would it not be so considered now?

The same thing can be said of all captives in other wars, male or female. War is a very messy business.

I wonder if said Islamic cleric extends the same attitude to non-Muslim men who wish to humiliate Muslim women.

That sword she refers to cuts both ways.

"We need to dispel the dangerous myth that it's only [South] Asian men who
sexually assault young women [in the UK]"

"Yes, Pakistani men are disproportionately involved in grooming gangs, and no, that
is not a racist statement. Neither is it racist to say that when it comes to wider child abuse
nearly 90 per cent of those convicted and on the sex offenders register are white men."

Trying to make sense of ancient history again are we?

Trying to say that all religions are the same today are we?

    Yawn

Funny thing, I don't hear any Jews or Christians today arguing using this scripture that women should be treated badly.

While I'm sure they exist, for the most part that is simply because secularism - at least in many western societies - has made Chrisianity its b*tch. Which is also why for instance abortion is more and more accepted these days.

Christianity has been fairly reshaped, remolded and frankly neutered by secularism. And we're not done yet.

    Your religion is dying.

And we'll do the same with all other religions.

Islam is expanding and becoming more militant.

We will make Islam our b*tch as much as we made Christianity our b*tch.

It'll take some effort, but you theists will all bow down to logic and reason eventually.

By what measure is Islam "becoming more militant"?
