Naturally, the Republicans will not criticise their cult leader and the Democrats will not do what needs to be done to stop this madness…
@Mott-The-Hoople saidTariffs unilaterally imposed by a mentally ill President against friendly nations because they don't approve of the US seizing Greenland are "something new".
Is this tariff thing something new?
@no1marauder saidYeah, it’s typically been war and many deaths.

@Mott-The-Hoople saidNo, in the last 60 years or so it’s been NATO.
Yeah, it’s typically been war and many deaths.
It’s time for Europe to break away from the US.
Just blanket them with 100% tariffs on all goods. Every single European and commonwealth nation.
Hamer the message home. It’s the only thing trump can comprehend.
And then when he attacks Greenland, it’s a complete trade embargo. End of.
Bloody orange moron.
@shavixmir saidEuropean countries cannot afford an economic war…every country is DEPENDENT on outside sources. Not a smart move to allow that. Should be concerned with keeping the power on in Germany right now.

'Let China sleep, for when she wakes, she will shake the world.'
I had to look up who said that, and nobody quite knows, sometimes and probably erroneously attributed to Napoleon Bonaparte. Anyway, everyone (Canada, Germany and so on) wants to talk to China these days, whilst the madman in the White House sets his tariffs and thinks that's going to solve America's problems, and that everyone needs America. How wrong can somebody be?
@Indonesia-Phil saidthey trying to get some of chinas slaves?

@no1marauder saidI will write Trump, show him the old adage, 'There is always a better move." I. bet he will use it in one of his many off-the-cuff speeches, as he works his way around any negative SCOTUS report. Did Biden ever give a speech from the belly? No, because he had nothing to brag about.
Tariffs unilaterally imposed by a mentally ill President against friendly nations because they don't approve of the US seizing Greenland are "something new".
Speaking of Scotus, Marauder, they will likley have to go against him on Tariffs, but they do not understand business, don't you see. You do see........right? (sue says right a lot). He will employ the AverageJoe Gambit...."There is always a. better way"', and do it another way.
They will definitely throw out those faeries that argued before the Court last week,.........alas, looks like we will only have men and women. Sure will make life easier, though. Think of the new lib agencies that would have to be created for the Tranees. Me, I only think about the money it costs....not the tranees.
@Great-King-Rat saidIt obviously still hasn't yet sunk in to Trump's yeah-sayers that the target country does not pay the tariff--the U.S. importer does.

@AverageJoe1 saidDo you think it’s a good thing for America to threaten its allies (or whatever is left of that) with economic sanctions in order to force that ally to sell a country to America? A sale that no-one except for Trump and his cult followers wants.

It’s been made abundantly clear by all involved that Greenland and Denmark do not wish to sell Greenland to the USA. Do you not think your country should respect that decision?
