The N in "N-word" stands for NIGGER, by the way.

She actually couldn't physically continue with the segment. She did her best to invoke a fake emotional response ( see 1:03 s - 1:05 s ). What a load of crap! Address your guests use of the word, and move on. The Black guy did!

    Two things:

First, racial epithets shouldn't be normalized. By saying one should just come right out and use a racial slur rather than simply refer to it, makes the word seem less disgusting than it is. People should be against using racial epithets, because their intended use is to denigrate human beings based on how they were born.

Second, I think the white man's use of the word had a point. I don't think he was using "nigger" with lack of empathy at it's effect; he seemed to be using the word to illustrate how serious choosing someone who throws "nigger" around for public office is. Simply saying "N-word" would've watered down his point. There are occasions when actually saying the word best conveys the seriousness of a situation involving racism.

    Nigger is a word.
And as with any word, it has a context.

I have no problem with anybody using any word within context.

I particulary enjoyed timepoint 0.22. What I'm guessing happened is that her CNN overlord told her in her earpiece that she needed to make a big deal out of this. Notice how the camera begins to zoom in even before the CNN-talking-doll interrupts her poor guest. And then some time later her overlord instructs her to end the conversation (because commercials) but "remember to act out your white guilt before going to commercials, because ratings!"

She has pretty eyes though, I give her that.

It was clever, but he took a long time before getting to the punchline. Although the audience sounded surprised when he revealed what the letters spelled, so yeah...

That zoom is by the maker of the video, not CNN.
