Theresa May has finally called for a general election after months of excellent polls for the tories!

I'm going to register right away, vote for her to secure brexit and wipe the saboteurs out of the picture.

Wow four more years of Toryism, yeah, its gonna be awesome. Can hardly wait. Tories were given a sound roasting in the Scottish parliament over their tax credits rape clause. Your heroin Ruth Davidson was left looking like the immoral Westminster shill that she evidently purports to be. Lets remind ourselves of those caring conservative policies.

Tories want to force women to prove that they were raped in order to claim tax credits for a third child.

The SNP are roasted daily. You just don't read about it. Did you hear scotland is almost in a recession?

Irrelevant; Sturgeon has better legs than May and that's what matters.
Especially when one is as short as her.

You were telling us about forcing women to prove that they were raped in order to receive social security benefits for a third child, were you not?

Saboteurs? This all sounds a little paranoid, who do you think the saboteurs are?

Sounds like a smart move, politically. Brexit will almost certainly cause significant economic damage, so by seeking a five-year term now (with a likely sizable Conservative majority) allows May and the Tories to weather the storm and hope that people will have forgotten about their overwhelmingly moronic decision to hold the Brexit referendum and the damage it has done and will do to Britain.

On the other hand it will almost certainly be the best decision the British people have made in the last 200 hundred years.

You really have a thing for digressing from the thread topic, and then expecting people to indulge you, don't you?

Labour, the lib dems, remainer tories. With a majority of a mere 17 seats they can all hold her to ransom.

Never mind, I'm sure you will be enjoying your "independence" in the not too distant future.

It would be interesting to know what level of Tory majority would be enough to get Momentum to admit they are just harming the people they are supposed to represent.

I have heard a number of Tory MPs licking their lips and now talking openly about how they can 'change the political debate permanently' in a post Brexit world with a Tory landslide.

All the self-righteous chest beating in the world will be of little comfort to those who will bear the brunt of this.

Still waiting for this significant economic damage to arrive. All chipper so far in good old Blighty.

How are things going in France?
