Donald Trump insisted on Saturday that Mexico would pay for a wall along the southern US border, one day after his administration asked Congress for $18 billion dollars from the AMERICAN TAXPAYERS over the next decade to start construction on the barrier.

The unsettling thing about this is not about this one issue, it's about the fact that Trump lies so often, most Americans have become numb to it.

sounds like a bargain considering illegal aliens cost the taxpayer over 100 billion per year. Eventually mexico will pay. You are taking a simplistic approach to try to have a point.

We give mexico aout 350 million dollars a year. We just need to redirect those payments to pay for the wall.

It should be all but psid for in 50 years or so.

If it's such a "drop in the bucket", then surely you wouldn't mind spending an equivalent amount on the poor in this country. No one in this country should have to live on the street.

You only want to see 18 B spent on the poor?

Assuming 10 million illegals - that is $10,000 each.
    How do they cost that?
They mainly work in low paid jobs and actually contribute to the economy.

Suggestion: Why don't we return to the subject of "Mexico Paying For The Wall" You and Mott are being rather evasive on this. 🙂

Given that it's 18B more than your hero Rand Paul is willing to spend, it's at least a decent start.

why would you say that? Are you for illegal aliens coming into our country? Are you willing to give up your job to an illegal alien?
